Why OWNFORM was born

OWNFORM didn’t start as a business idea. It started with me.

I’m Rio.

Approaching my 40th year on this planet, I realised I’d stepped into a new version of myself — the way I thought, the way I carried myself, the energy I brought had all changed. But my clothes hadn’t.

I remember opening my wardrobe one day and just standing there. None of it felt like me anymore. There was nothing wrong with it — it just didn’t reflect where I was at.

That moment stayed with me.

I wanted something that matched how I felt internally. I wanted minimal. But Intentional. Strong pieces that didn’t try too hard, but still said enough.

That’s where OWNFORM came from.

OWNFORM is guided by a clear perspective — what you wear should align with who you are, or who you’re becoming. Not performative. Not forced.

The focus is on creating pieces that feel right — comfortable, considered, easy to wear — while building a brand that reflects purpose in every detail.

In a world of fast fashion and constant noise, OWNFORM is about stepping back. Choosing pieces with intention, even in the small details.

For me, it was about creating clothing I could put on and feel more like myself. That energy is at the heart of everything we create.

OWNFORM isn’t about standing out for attention.

It’s about being comfortable in your own identity — quietly, but with intent.
